I have always been interested in the arts and for many years had been drawing regularly and painting whilst on holiday – often only one picture per year. When I took early retirement at the end of 2009 I had the opportunity to spend more time painting and wondered whether I would soon tire of it. The reality was quite the reverse!
I like my pictures to mean something to me – places I have been, people I know or events that have made an impact on me. I am a member of the Elmbridge Art Club and a former chair of the Droitwich Arts Network.
